Q&A
🌿 Frequently Asked Questions (About Henna)
Find answers to common questions about our natural henna treatments.
【Color & Finish】
-
Q. Can I lighten my hair with henna?
-
A. No. Since henna does not contain bleaching agents, it cannot lighten dark hair. The color will only show on grey or white hair.
-
-
Q. Can I achieve a natural brown color?
-
A. Yes. By using a "Double Henna (2-step process)" or "Henna with Indigo," we can create brown tones on grey hair.
Note: When using indigo, your hair may appear slightly greenish for 2–3 days after dyeing. This is normal and will settle into a natural brown as it oxidizes.

-
Q. I’ve had my hair dyed jet black at other salons. Can you do the same?
-
A. We use 100% natural henna without chemical dyes (such as diamine). Therefore, it is impossible to turn hair jet black in a single session. However, with consistent use, the color builds up and will gradually become darker and deeper.
-
【Switching & Timing】
-
Q. Can I switch from chemical hair color to henna?
-
A. Absolutely. Although the properties are different, you can transition to henna-only hair care over time.
-
-
Q. How often should I get a henna treatment?
-
A. To maintain the best color, we recommend a touch-up every 1 to 1.5 months.
-
-
Q. Is it true that perms won't work after henna?
-
A. It is ideal to get your perm before your henna treatment. If you wish to get a perm after henna, we recommend waiting at least one week to allow the henna to fully set.

【Aftercare & Safety】
-
Q. My hair feels stiff/dry after the treatment...
-
A. This is not damage; it is a sign that the henna is coating and strengthening the hair shaft. If the texture bothers you, using a conditioner or our recommended "Kuro-Change Rinse" will help restore smoothness.
-
-
Q. Does the color bleed or fade?
-
A. Yes, especially during the first week after treatment. Please use a towel that you don't mind getting stained during this period.
-
-
Q. I’m worried about allergies.
-
A. We offer patch tests for those with concerns. Please feel free to consult us in advance.
